Orama

Inspired by traditional Shetland hap shawl construction, Orama makes a stunning visual impact using deceptively simple techniques. Orama is a large eye-shaped lace-weight shawl knit in the round from the center out. The center “pupil” of the shawl features concentric rings of simple eyelet lace and stockinette. The shawl then continues in contrast color garter stitch. The “wings” of the shawl are worked with short rows.
